The Council of the District of Columbia (“Council”) is pleased to release, the Council’s first formal Capacity Building Strategic Plan, which will serve as a blueprint for the overall operations of the Council from 2008 through 2010. A review of the plan will reveal that it encompasses administrative, fiscal and oversight components. All, of which, are substantially interrelated affecting both the efficiency and effectiveness of the Council. Principal legislative goals and objectives will be set forth in a separate document.
