4/26/12 UPDATE
The following revision has been made to the FY13 Budget Oversight Hearings schedule:

  • Monday, April 30 COW hearing on Budget Request Act and Budget Support Act has been rescheduled from 10AM to Noon.

4/25/12 UPDATE
The following revision has been made to the FY13 Budget Oversight Hearings schedule:

  • Friday, April 27 Committee on Small & Local Business Development hearing on the Small & Local Business Opportunity Commission has been canceled.

4/23/12 UPDATE
The following revisions have been made to the FY13 Budget Oversight Hearings schedule:

  • Friday, April 27 Committee on Health hearing on Not-for-Profit Hospital Corporation has been rescheduled from 2PM to 3PM
  • Tuesday, April 24 COW hearing on OSSE; Charter School Board; Dep Mayor for Planning & Econ Dev; Council of Gov; and OCT has been moved to Council Chamber, Room 500
  • Tuesday, April 24 Public Services & Consumer Affairs hearing on Public Service Commission; Office of People’s Counsel; and DISB has been moved to Room 412

4/6/12 UPDATE
The following revisions have been made to the FY13 Budget Oversight Hearings schedule:

  • Washington Council of Governments and Office of Cable Television have been rescheduled from April 27 to the April 24 COW hearing
  • Department of General Services (Capital Improvement Plan) has been added to the April 27 COW hearing.

4/3/12 UPDATE
The following revision has been made to the FY13 Budget Oversight Hearings schedule:

  • April 4: Dept of Youth and Rehabilitation Services hearing has been moved to 10:30AM (orig time: 11AM)
  • April 17: Additional hearing scheduled for Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration, 5PM, Room 500

  • April 27: Office of Labor Relations and Collective Bargaining (orig date: April 24)

2/29/12 UPDATE
The following revisions have been made to the FY13 Budget Oversight Hearings schedule:

  • Department of Healthcare Finance rescheduled to April 19
  • Deputy Mayor of Health and Human Services rescheduled to April 26

2/21/12 UPDATE
The following revision has been made to the FY11-12 Agency Performance Oversight Hearings schedule:

  • The DCPS portion of COW's education oversight hearing (government testimony only) has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 23 at 10AM
  • Committee on Human Services will continue its oversight hearing on the Child and Family Services Agency on Wednesday, March 14, at 11AM, in room 123

2/17/12 UPDATE
The following revisions have been made to the FY13 Budget Oversight hearings schedule:

  • Committee of the Whole Public Hearing on the "Fiscal Year 2013 Budget Request Act of 2012" and the "Fiscal Year 2013 Budget Support Act of 2012" - Date moved from May 8 to April 30, 2012
  • Markup of the Committee on Housing and Workforce Development - Date moved from April 30 to May 2, 2012
  • Markup of the Committee on Public Service and Consumer Affairs -  Date moved from April 30 to May 2, 2012

The hearings schedules have been revised to include the following changes:

February 9 Small & Local Business hearing on Dept of Small and Local Business Development; Office of Motion Picture and Television Development;  and Destination DC has been moved from 10AM to 11AM.

New contacts are listed for the Committees on Human Services and Housing and Workforce Development.

*Both of the above changes have been made on the Council's central, online calendar.
