Legislation and Laws

To establish a pilot early warning and intervention system to track how individual 9 students in select feeder school groups in grades 4 through 9 are performing on certain indicators of high school and college readiness, to identify students who are at risk of dropping out, and provide additional funding to support initiatives within those feeder school groups to support high school and college readiness and increase high school graduation rates; survey all schools to identify strategies used to support high school and college readiness; and require the Mayor to produce a final report to identify best practices and expand the early warning and intervention system to all schools.
