Councilmember Muriel Bowser, Chair of the Committee on Government Operations, announces a public roundtable on three nominees to the Public Employees Relations Board. The public roundtable will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 10AM in Room 120 of the John A. Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.

PR19-568: Public Employee Relations Board Donald S. Wasserman Confirmation Resolution of 2012 would confirm the appointment of Donald S. Wasserman, a Ward 3 resident, to the Public Empoloyee Relations Board (PERB). The PERB is the independent agency of the District government responsible for the resolution of labor-management disputes between city agencies and labor organizations. The PERB consists of five board members, and executive director, a general counsel, and a number of support staff who run the day-to-day operations of the Agency.

PR19-613: Public Employee Relations Board Ann F. Hoffman Confirmation Resolution of 2012 would confirm the appointment of Ann F. Hoffman, a Ward 4 resident, to the Public Empoloyee Relations Board (PERB). The PERB is the independent agency of the District government responsible for the resolution of labor-management disputes between city agencies and labor organizations. The PERB consists of five board members, and executive director, a general counsel, and a number of support staff who run the day-to-day operations of the Agency.

PR19-614: Public Employee Relations Board Larry Ray Confirmation Resolution of 2012 would confirm the appointment of Larry Ray, a Ward 1 resident, to the Public Empoloyee Relations Board (PERB). The PERB is the independent agency of the District government responsible for the resolution of labor-management disputes between city agencies and labor organizations. The PERB consists of five board members, and executive director, a general counsel, and a number of support staff who run the day-to-day operations of the Agency.

Individuals and representatives of organizations who wish to testify at the public hearing are asked to register online or contact Jordyne Blaise, Legislative Counsel to the Committee on Government Operations, at (202) 724-4902, or via e-mail at jblaise@dccouncil.us and furnish their names, addresses, telephone numbers, and organizational affiliation, if any, by the close of business Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Persons presenting testimony may be limited to 3 minutes in order to permit each witness an opportunity to be heard.
