Georgia Avenue Surplus and Disposition Declaration and Approval Resolutions of 2012
Councilmember Muriel Bowser, Chair of the Committee on Government Operations and Councilmember Michael Brown, Chair of the Committee on Economic Development and Housing, announce a joing public roundtable to review PR19-729: 6925-29 Georgia Avenue Surplus and Declaration and Approval Resolution of 2012 and PR19-730: Georgia Avenue Disposition Declaration and Approval Resolutions of 2012. The joint public roundtable will be held on Wednesday, June 27, at 10AM in Room 500 of the John A. Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.
The proposed surplus resolution, PR19-729, would declare certain District owned property located on Georgia Avenue, NW as surplus and no longer rquired for public purposes pursuant to DC Official Code 10-801. The proposed disposition resolution, PR19-730, would allow for the disposition of the property for the purpose of developing a 27-unit mixed income rental apartment building.

Persons presenting testimony may be limited to 3 minutes in order to permit each witness an opportunity to be heard.
