Board of Ethics and Accountability Nominations
Councilmember Muriel Bowser, Chair of the Committee on Government Operations, announces a public roundtable on the nominations of Robert Spagnoletti, Laura Richards, and Deborah Lathen to serve on the Board of Ethics and Government Accountability. The public roundtable will be held on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 10:00 A.M., in Room 412, of the John A. Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.
PR 19-759 would confirm the Mayor’s appointment of Robert Spagnoletti as Chair of the Board of Ethics and Government Accountability. PRs 19-758 and 19-760 would confirm the Mayor’s appointments of Laura Richards and Deborah Lathen, respectively, as members of the Board of Ethics and Government Accountability. Ms. Richards’ appointment would satisfy the statutory requirement that at least one member of the Board be from a non-majority political party.

Persons presenting testimony may be limited to 3 minutes in order to permit each witness an opportunity to be heard.
