The purpose of this oversight hearing is to hear testimony from government and public witnesses about the status and efficacy of the District’s response plans and the adequacy of the response during recent natural disasters.  The hearing will also explore the adequacy of communication between District agencies and District residents.  A similar hearing on this issue was held on October 13, 2011.
