Councilmember David A. Catania, Chairperson of the Committee on Health, announces an Oversight Roundtable to review the current policies and procedures related to student access to treatment and medication while on school grounds.  The Roundtable will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Room 123 of the John Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.

The purpose of this hearing is to hear an update on issues related to the administration of medication to students at District schools.

This roundtable will be invitation only; only invited witnesses will be permitted to provide oral statements.  Members of the public may submit written testimony which will be made part of the official record.  Copies of written statements should be submitted to the Committee on Health no later than 5:30pm on Monday, July 16, 2012.
