The purpose of the public hearing is to discuss and provide the public with an opportunity to comment on the proposed legislation that shall amend the Eastern Market Real Property Asset Management and Outdoor Vending Act of 1998 to establish a nonprofit corporation to manage the Eastern Market and its assets.
